我 brothers and I exchanged a nervous glance, wondering what was happening. Suddenly, the sound of screeching tires filled the air, followed by a loud thud. We rushed to the window and saw our father's car had hit something.
"Father!" we cried out in unison, rushing to his side. He stepped out of the car, looking shaken but otherwise unharmed. "I'm sorry," he said, tears streaming down his face. "I just wanted to remind myself that life is precious." It turned out that he had intentionally driven into a large tree in front of our house.
As we comforted him and tried to understand what had happened, it became clear that this incident was not just an accident - it was a deliberate act of self-reflection and healing for my father. The impact on his car was minor compared to the emotional weight he carried within himself.
The silence at home after that day began to dissipate as my father slowly opened up about his feelings and fears with us once again. His journey towards recovery started with this one small act of courage - hitting something without causing harm or damage.
In time, Father found solace in volunteering alongside his new friend from before. Together they worked tirelessly for various causes around town - helping those less fortunate than themselves find their footing in life too.
And so while there may have been some scars left from all these experiences - both physical and emotional ones; yet none would ever forget how much love there truly is within them because Father taught us such lessons through many different ways including driving into trees at night under heavy rainstorm which scared everyone including me who has never seen anything like this happen before especially when you know your dad is going crazy sometimes but then you see him smile even though everything seems lost cause now since i can't stop thinking about how bad things are going right now…
