Life is a long road with many forks in it, and every person has to keep making choices. These choices may lead to different lives, but as long as we view life as our own unique creation, we won't constantly look back on what could have been if only we had made different choices.
The five principles of happiness are: no hatred in the heart, no worries in the brain, a simple life style, giving more than taking and expecting less. And remember that all things have meaning on their unseen side. Live simply in the present moment; there's no need to worry about what's true or false - just live.
Give time some time; let the past be past and let beginnings begin again. I think love is when two people can resonate with each other's emotions on the same frequency. Our suffering comes from endless desire, endless comparison and endless struggle; those former gains and losses, victories and defeats always make us hard to let go of them all too easily. Let it be easy; everything you gain will eventually be lost; relax a bit - even if you climb high one day you'll come down another day.
