2011年8月16日,一手打造龙湖集团的女掌门人吴亚军辞任公司首席执行官(CEO)一职,但仍保留公司执行董事和董事长职务。接任CEO一职的是公司常务副总裁兼商业地产部总经理邵明晓。

宋卫平说:“做品质全国比我们做得好的地产公司最多只有一家半家,这一家呢就是龙湖,另外半家是星河湾。吴亚军有男人气魄,又有女人的细腻,我不吝啬把溢美之词送给她。”

2011年3月《福布斯》全球富豪榜发布,重庆龙湖地产创办人吴亚军,以55亿美元的财富卫冕中国“女首富”。

当然,这背后是一个创业故事。

吴老师

吴亚军,1964年出生于重庆合川。

合川以前是一个县,现在是重庆市合川区。宋蒙时期的钓鱼城之战就发生在这里,或者是历史上耗时最长的攻防战。

2007年的时候,龙湖与合川区签订协议,整体打造合川钓鱼城及东城半岛旅游综合开发项目。

她小时候的环境同多数同时代的人类似,在县城营盘街的一个院子中,若干家庭公用一个厨房。吴亚军的父亲在供销社工作,而母亲则是一位裁缝,也是一位创业者。

中学的时候,她就读于合川二中,是市重点中学,没有中学生爱情故事。她们管得也严。而她的高中老师回忆,一方面她的性格有点像男孩,还有一方面当时他们管得也严。而她当时的人生目标是成为居里夫人。

“当时她作文写得非常好、文科成绩超好,但是她对人生有规划,所以硬生生放弃文科读理工。”创业时期就在一起的同事张薇如是回顾。

1980年,她考入西北工业大学,当具体是在导航工程系。在那里,她司职西北工业大学校篮球队前锋也是篮球运动员,并且学习之外还担任电大教师,每月薪水高达100多元,那个时候无疑属于高薪了。当厂里的技术引进要与德国方面谈合作,她当翻译,并且自己做了一件旗袍,这应该继承了母亲的手艺,让所有人眼前一亮。此后到1988年的市场经济渐行之中,她选择到《中国市容报》担任记者及编辑,该报主办单位是建设部城建司及重庆市建委。在北京办事处工作期间逐渐熟悉房地产领域,不奇怪也有所回应。此外基于报纸行业特征,有报道说,在画册出版过程中体现出了能力,也个人也有所回馈。不过,由于行业特征,本着报纸的一些机制似乎较为灵活,有报道说Wu Yajun在画册出版过程中的表现令人印象深刻,但由于职业发展需要调整 herself 的生活方式,即便如此,在此之后she 通过her mother's advice and support, she decided to start her own business.

1994年,与蔡奎共同成立了重庆佳辰经济文化发展有限公司。这是一次重要决定,因为它标志着she was going to take the first step towards entrepreneurship. The company had a registered capital of 200 million yuan, with four shareholders: China City Construction Society, Chongqing Taiye Trade Development Co., Ltd., Wu Yajun's mother, and Zhang Wei. This company mainly engaged in decoration and sales of imported building materials.

1995年,她成为重庆中建科置业有限公司董事总经理,从而进入房地产业。这意味着she started working in real estate industry by joining a well-established company like 中建科置业有限公司. The company was established in June 1995 with a registered capital of one million yuan, where 中建科产业有限公司 held 55% stake while 重庆佳辰经济发展有限公司 held 45%. 中建科产业有限公司 is a large-scale share-holding enterprise with shareholders including China Construction Engineering Corporation etc. 重庆中建科置业有限公司 took charge of developing the project "Small Town Residential Technology Industry Park" which includes the development of Chongqing Long Lake Garden Demonstration Zone.

The Long Lake Garden South Area started construction on April before that year and launched an advertisement saying "Treating you for your whole life". This was based on Wu Yajun's personal experience as a buyer who experienced delayed delivery and poor quality when purchasing houses from other developers. She vowed that if she were to become a developer herself, she would not tolerate such practices.

In the following years, after several name changes later (e.g., from 重慶佳辰經濟文化發展有限責任公司to 重慶龍湖企業拓展有限責任公司), Dragon Lake began to innovate its housing products like apartment buildings around lakeside area designed with different heights along lake side but all connected into various courtyards; it also introduced new types such as penthouse apartments or floating garden houses above ground level which became popular quickly selling out within one year without any marketing efforts needed - they were hotly sought after by potential buyers due largely because their design seemed more spacious than traditional ones at lower price point compared against similar units elsewhere making them highly competitive among all competitors within same market segment during this time period especially considering how successful this particular model has been since launch date onwards up until now even though many critics initially doubted success given high competition existing amongst numerous other companies offering similar product lines currently available today too!
