"Li Yiman is a very smart, technically gifted, and strong manager. He's high-level and will definitely achieve something." said Wu.

Young and ambitious Li faced his first major setback in Huawei. Around the year 2000, his position was adjusted, and he became the head of Huawei's Electrical Department and later the director of its American Institute.

At that time, Ren Zhengfei advocated for "internal entrepreneurship". Li was not satisfied with this idea and left after some deliberation. His departure was accepted by Ren Zhengfei.

A group of people from Huawei followed him out to form Harbour Networks. This company seemed to be born with an attitude: everywhere it went, it tried to make life difficult for Huawei; it became one of Huawei's most potential competitors. It clearly showed off Li's talents.

But Ren Zhengfei is old-schooled wise. In 2006, Huawei acquired Harbour Networks as they emulated Cisco Systems' strategy; Li returned to Huawei as Chief Scientist in Telecommunications Technology Development Center & Vice President; at the end of 2007, he became Vice President in charge of Terminal Products Division within top ten rankings internally.

Li sank into despair again according to Liu Jing (a pseudonym) who worked with him during this period: "He is like a god among engineers at grassroots levels."

However after returning to the company twice more times without much presence inside before leaving again for Baidu where he took up CTO post but left just over a year later due to personal reasons or dissatisfaction about working environment etc.,

In two years time however Lee did leave Baidu too - once again going back into independent status or solo career path which has been marked by many twists turns including multiple roles CEO positions across different companies such as No Limit Communication .The man had always maintained his charm even though being gone from public eye yet still managing some influence on industry insiders who saw him grow matured especially when taking responsibility towards team members through emails sent out regarding mistakes made by them themselves instead blaming others which demonstrated significant change compared past behaviors

Accordingly there are many stories told about how talented individual like Lee would never find place long-term if kept under someone else control ,especially when considering competition dynamics between big players such as China Mobile Corporation Limited ——the largest mobile telecommunications provider in mainland China——and other rivals given constant changes happening around them constantly affecting strategic decisions taken daily operations carried out day-to-day basis activities involving communication technology development innovation etcetera...

This dynamic tension makes us wonder what next move might come next?
